Pop-Up is a seating solution with a truly eye-catching, original design: a sofa with a low backrest and wide seats with a contemporary design, configurable in numerous variations to adapt to the style and requirements of modern living contexts. From small linear to large panoramic sofas, the possible solutions range from corner sofas with 6, 8 or 10 seats and beyond to more original compositions with one armrest, a peninsula, island, backless seats and shaped modules.
An exclusive new addition to the collection, Pop-Up was born from the collaboration between Bodema and the designer Michele Mantovani, who replaced the shapes of the classic living room sofa by proposing a perfect balance between rigid geometries and soft, rounded silhouettes. The solid form of the single backrest catches the eye, a low backrest which - starting from the ends of the armrests - runs the entire length of the structure and frames the large seats. Less evident in asymmetrical configurations, this effect of continuity is appreciated particularly in L-shaped, U-shaped, C-shaped or linear sofas, which distinguish the seats, punctuating them with the help of backrest cushions in soft goose down. On the other hand, the curved lines create the inner profile of the armrests, which delicately overlap with the external seat cushions in polyurethane foam, making the sofa even more inviting.
Totally devoted to comfort, Pop-Up finds its ideal location in the centre of the room, where it allows for the creation of a fully-equipped, multifunctional relaxation zone. The modular seats can in fact have, next to them or at intervals, storage units with a useful support surface and low compartment or side tables with a tray and compartments with top access. In either case, the wooden complements can complete the sofa and make for a satisfying sitting experience. Finished on all sides, they can also be viewed at 360°.
The aesthetics have been carefully curated, confirmed by valuable details that further enrich the appearance of the sofa. Pop-Up is supported by an elegant base with a sloping edge made of Charcoal or Bronze-coloured aluminium, a distinctive but discrete element that can be easily matched with the colour of the fabric, leather and velvet covers offered by the collection.
